Metaphysics has been an experiencial science. The wheel has been re- invented over and over by many techniques. Discoveries come through functioning. This has been a "measure and cut in the dark" fitting. With each individual many attempts are required in order to put just one piece of the jigsaw puzzle together in the darkness. The fact that an occasional piece falls into place in this jigsaw on the floor in a dark room has meaning far beyond the small step it immediately represents. Metaphysics is at about the same level as alchemie when it was an occult or hidden science. We are at the level of physics before any physical laws were known. We are, basically, adrift. A compendium and statement of the natural laws of metaphysics is as needed as for chemistry and physics. Without these natural laws being stated as theorems, tested, proven, and restated as laws of nature, we will never advance beyond hand-holding, psalm singing pseudo-seances with little functional reality.

In the creation of heaven and earth, a kind of glue was applied to hold the whole thing together. This glue takes the form of natural laws which we percieve as fundamental limits to event horizons. Nothing will occur until a horizon is passed and a natural law can be evoked. The apple cannot fall until the twig releases it.

A key point is that such an event horizon indicates that the event will happen, always when the same circumstances are present. When the twig releases the apple, it will fall. If we move the event horizon to zero gravity, we will have passed the "apple will fall" horizon and now, when the twig releases, the apple will not fall owing to the lack of an important aspect of the required circumstances, gravity.

These clearly defined event horizons allow physics to be a relatively exact science, useful in our everyday life and capable of easily repeated events by widely varied workers, who learn of the experiments by just reading a book.

Metaphysics can and will reach this level. When connections are made to the known physical laws, the laws of metaphysics can be illuminated. Each small step into the light of day brings more light to previously unknown laws of spirituality and metaphysics.

Our spiritual abilities and character are as solid and workable as is our physical world. So far, in our history, the guys with the swords always won. The guys with the spirits could only write things down quickly and pass them on to posterity before the swords fell.

This has really been too bad in several ways. For one, the information began to be held secret (to keep off the swords) and secret is another word for "mixed up." For another, work in a continuous methodology was, at best, scattered and discontinuous, with much information lost from one researcher to the next researcher. Also, the killing of the researchers ment the loss of their genetic code in the population. The guys with the swords bred and passed on sword mentality both in the genetic code and in the reinforced behaviour. Thus, the stockpile of spiritual workers has always been low. The available swordsmen has always been high. If this sounds backwards to you, join the club.

Our modern world has changed little from the old sword days. Even today the spiritualist is at a disadvantage economically to the "killers" of Wall Street or the the "sharks" of our daily life. Unless we give up some of our own spiritual force for a bit of physical force, these "sharks" will chew us up to nothing.

However, when enough is known about the actual laws governing the metaphysical world we will be able to protect against physical "sharks" and need only fear ourselves. Yes, Virginia, we are our own worst enemies. It is time to become our own best friends.

Quantification of spirituality will not degrade spirituality any more than quantification of electrical processes degraded the glory of lightening. We can only gain from increased knowledge of our spirituality.

There are some small facts of physical existence which we must live with and accept no matter how much we'd like not to do so. One of these is the round earth theory. There seems to be overwhelming evidence that the earth is not flat, the sun does not go around the earth, and we might possibly not be the most important planet in the universe. Oops, there goes the church population as readers of this book.

There are also some small facts about you (and maybe me) which are true whether we know those facts, accept them, or whatever. One of these is that you, probably me, and most definitely everyone else are groupings of molecules with a life force which operates on an electro-chemical energy level. This produces an electromagnetic field which interacts with the earth's' magnetic field, which interacts with the suns' magnetic field, which interacts with the galaxy magnetic field, which interacts with the Universal magnetic field, and so on (if there is an on at that point). This electromagnetic field is energy. Energy which you produce and energy which you are in contact with. This puts you in contact with quite a lot of items at least at some small level.

The physical facts of this are simply that you are a complex organism using and producing energy in the form of heat, chemical reactions, movement (a form of heat), and various fields of electromagnetic energy. This electromagnetic field is all around you and represents the chemical state of your body and mind. If, for instance, you have a damaged elbow, the electromagnetic field in that area will reflect that damage. A complete electromagnetic field study of your whole body would tell us everything about your chemical and electrical makeup and allow diagnostics that are not yet available. We could even know your thoughts and brain health since each thought is represented by a specific electromagnetic field.

The quantum physics of the electromagnetic field studies indicate the electron is present in two states. One state is called "left spin" and the other is "right spin." In metaphysics this is known as Yin and Yang. Your electromagnetic field is called an "aura" in metaphysics. Many physical and scientific facts are recorded in the spiritual realm of metaphysics but are disguised by odd sounding names and surrounded by mysticism so that it is difficult to reach a level of truth and functional, systematic study. When pursued to the final corner, metaphysics will give up and surrender a great deal of information. We have a far deeper level of functioning in relation to the electromagnetic fields around us than science has so far brought to light. Metaphysics has identified many of the science facts long before science even thought about them. Scientific studies are finally supporting the idea that we are in contact with the Universal field in some way that may be small but is significant.

The writing that follows is an attempt to assist you in becoming more aware of those electromagnetic contacts and fields, and how to use them to your (and hopefully, everyone else's) benefit. If you're human and the odds are pretty good on that account, you are a very complex electrochemical living, and aware life form. You are in contact with the Universe which may be in contact with you. Awareness may flow in directions we have not considered.

Within these pages is information that you should already know. If the job of writing has been done properly, you will find nothing new here and the writing will only seem to remind you of things you already are aware of but have not quite put together in usable form. Good knowledge and information should pull you into awareness without the need for two dictionaries, an encyclopedia, three friends, and a guru. So, relax and enjoy. If you don't understand something, don't call, don't blame, just know the information is not quite ready and go on. Later, the knowledge of what was there will come back and you'll understand.

Tune up to yourself, become self-aware, and the universe may open to you. At least some greater portion of the universe will become yours to keep from the increased awareness you will gain from the study that follows.
