As with everything else, the more you know, the better you do - - - and - - - the more you know how much you don't know.

So far, we've found that there really is an electromagnetic flux associated with living beings. We've come to realize at least one good reason for this flux, that it is the chemical/electrical activity associated with all such self-replicating molecular colonies that use energy to activate themselves. That causes the easily recognizable aura and body energy known as Ch'I and Yin/Yang.

In summary, we've found the aura, and Yin/Yang energy. There is much, much more.

Although there really is only Yin/Yang energy, it may be of different frequencies. Yin/Yang may have various characters and may be static or uncontrollably active. It may be combined at any level from nearly all Yin to nearly all Yang. It may vary in intensity and in density. You get the idea, the combinations are infinite.

Since you've been able to experimentally test the existence of this energy and know it exists, isn't it astounding our society has not given it the same treatment and investigation as electricity? Here we are standing around with keys tied to our astral kites, saying, "See! See! It's real!." Our scientific world says, "Yes, that's cute", and turns away.

There must be a good reason for this and there is. Your reason is as good as any so you don't have to listen/look/become aware/think/etc., either. Check around your mind to see if there's an unlocked door or so and I'll suggest some things you can... well, you'll think what you will.

For thousands of years, indeed, since the dawn of mankind, and including the Neanderthals, we have known there is more than just that bunch of procreating molecules. Call it what you will, soul, spirit, Ch'I, Yin/Yang, or even electromagnetic field, it is there. In virtually all societies there have been episodes of investigation, experiments and use of body energy. In some of these societies, such investigations resulted in practical knowledge that was used in everyday life. But, a funny thing kept happening on the way to enlightenment. People were finding new things about our grosser physical world and nature, like iron to make swords to subjugate those who were finding out about auras.

Because the guys with the swords won, the consensus was that the guys with the auras were a bunch of crazy wimps, so ignore that astral stuff, in fact, call it bad, and make it illegal.

Then there was the little problem of extraterrestrial interference---The MAUNDER MINIMUM. You may now shake with fear because our society was reshaped by this and recently. The "little ice age" that extended for more than 300 years into the 1800's, nearly to 1900, was a time of considerably lower numbers of sunspot formation called the Maunder Minimum. During this time, the earth cooled down enough to be called a "little ice age". Temperate zone societies closed their doors, put on their clothes, compartmented their houses, booted out the old gods, cranked up the dark ages, and much more. No time for astral energy, no time for study, only time to find food and put on more clothes.

You get the idea. Most of our body taboo's come from this time. Repressive religion certainly gained, and much knowledge was lost. You surely can think of more.

Then the sun spots came back, the place warmed up and off came the cl....OOPS, forgot about repressive religion. Those guys really cleaned up during the long cold days. The church had gathered up all the magic left lying about when the old gods got the boot and they wouldn't (won't) give it back.

Oh yeah, you could make swords all you wanted but your body and soul belonged to the church. No more messing around with body energy or spirit without the church approving, and they didn't (don't). This became a law, and even worse, a moral issue. If you touch my aura, we must be in league with anti-church forces (clearly evil) and that was (is) bad indeed. Burning at the stake was not good enough and even today, nudity is not nearly so repressed by law as it is by church enforced morality.

So the renaissance was a bust. Paint pretty pictures? Yes. Get out a telescope and look at planets? Bad! Bad! Galileo still hasn't been forgiven. Copernicus couldn't even show his proof that the earth revolved around the sun until after he died (mid 1500's).

About 200 years ago people got tired of this and kicked the church out of government (with limited success). People began to look at auras again.

But then, a funny thing happened on the way to an astral revolution, it got misspelled as industrial revolution. Back to Swords again!

You see, the church had relinquished some of its monopoly on the physical world and you could play around with electricity. BUT! You could not play with the body energy or soul (or magic) because the church still owned these. One chemical study led to another and soon there was medicine. Now the church had to allow physical interaction with the body. They still haven't given it back but they let us heal it with physical medicines, sometimes. You're not permitted to mess with your spirit body, soul, esoteric energy, magic, etc. That stuff belongs to the church. Now! Today! Yes, yours too!

And if you don't believe that, think how you felt about "naked" aura practice. Who taught you to feel that way? Why? You want to join an alternate religion or a nudist camp and go public? See?

There you go, esoteric energy belongs to others, not you. Did you try the simple energy exercise and find the aura? OOPS, another soul to Hades!

If you're ready to be in charge of your own body and soul, ready to give up false morality, and promise not to hurt people or harm things too much, you're ready to move on. You'll also need to deal with and handle sex. Don't hit me with your church-oriented and enforced attitudes. If you want that kind of kinky (but fun) stuff, I'll give you some street addresses, names, and maybe go with you. I'm talking not about church morality, but about what should be normal interactions but are not. Such things as naked, and touching. You know, that stuff that if God didn't want you wouldn't be born with. Lets not do anything right now that will get someone pregnant. Unless you want to. We'll talk about that later.

All right, why should you be naked to deal with protoplasmic energy? Because clothes alter the manifestation of the electromagnetic flux used for diagnosis and healing. There are many more reasons and most (if not all) body workers try to work with a minimum of interfering layers. They use such buzz-words as freedom, reducing inhibitions, being in tune with karmic vibes, and , it's just better that way. They're all correct but no one seems to want to say why they are correct. So, I will.

When you work with the natural energy emissions of a living body, you attempt to reshape, change, charge, etc. that energy by the influence of your own energy field. This energy seems very much like the electromagnetic field generated by a modern power plant because it is just that.

Your body generates electricity, conducts electricity, and produces an electromagnetic field. No, it's not 60 cycle, 120 volt, but it is real. We all know how hazardous it is to touch a high tension power line and we are beginning to realize that the intense aura given off by such lines may also be hazardous to people who live nearby.

Fortunately, your body doesn't normally put out that intense an aura, but you could (at least briefly).

Because of this intense aura generated by a 40,000 volt power line, engineers are able to use an instrument to measure that voltage without touching the line. With this tool they can quickly locate bad spots in the line where resistances have built up and replace those areas with new wire.

However, even a small tree growing nearby will alter the aura so much the reading will be meaningless. The energy of your body is much more delicate than a high voltage power line. Clothes are even closer to the source than a tree to the line. Such clothes make it impossible to use even those sensitive instruments, the trained human hands, to measure the frequency, voltage resistance, etc. of your energy.

Since all body workers use (or misuse) this energy either deliberately or accidentally, they quickly learn that nude is best. Whatever their esoteric reasons, there is hard fact for working this way.

The character of the electromagnetic field that permeates your body exactly relates to the character of your body. The electrical signals your brain sends to all parts of your body vary according to your emotions. Do lie detectors work? You bet they do! And what causes those physical changes lie detectors use? Electrical signals from the brain, of course. A skilled person can read the energy of your body far better than such a crude instrument.

What's more, you have the power to influence that energy in someone else. This can be for good or bad. Try to do good!
